PROGRAM
Day 1:
arrival at the airport installation at the hotel
Day 2 : YAOUNDÉ - EBOGO - Ngaoundere
After an early departure breakfast in Ebogo (a city in the rainforest) 60 km from Yaoundé, the Nyong River. Accompanied by a local guide, we explore the mangroves with canoes and "Sapeli, a typical tree of the area prized by the cabinetmakers. Return and transfer to the train station where we take the (sleeping compartments) night train to Ngaoundere (about 700 km)
Day 3 : Ngaoundere - Bénoué
We have breakfast on the train, and after our arrival to Ngaoundere: departure to the park of Benoue. This park, 180,000 hectares and established in 1968, is one of the oldest parks in Cameroon. It has been recognized as a "biosphere reserve". We will spot different wild animals: hippopotamuses, giraffes, buffaloes, monkeys, various species of antelopes ...

Day 4 : Bénoué - BOUBA N'DJIDA
After breakfast, we cross again Bénoué Park. Maybe a short stop at Tsoliré (market). Continue through Bouba N'djidah Park. Overnight in the middle of the park and under tent at the park entrance. The national park of Bouba N'djidah is 220,000 hectares and was also created in 1968. Its name comes from the sultan 'Bouba N'Djidah' as a hunting ground used this park.It is the largest hunting reserve in Cameroon, with an abundance of wildlife and birds, but also to reach the more isolated, which makes it more difficult.It is crossed by several rivers, including Mayo Sénaroua.
Day 5 : BOUBA N'DJIDA - POLI
We cross the park again and spend the night in a Poli motel. This city is located between the hills where live many tribes, including Bororo, dowayo, doupa .... Farmers live off their cattle "zebus", and women sell milk in surrounding villages: we will definitely meet.

Day 6 : POLI - Wangai - POLI
Early morning departure to the Alantika Mountains. Via Faro Park, we arrive at Lamido de Wangai. After a motorcycle tour and hiking, visit the KOMA tribe. These semi-nomads have - preserved their individuality - far from civilization.
Retour au motel Poli.
Day 7 : POLI - Vallée des Roniers - POLI
We leave early on "Roniers Valley", a valley full of beautiful palm trees that we will cross from village to village. Here we meet the Bororo and Dowayo and visit the carpet weavers, potters and blacksmith of the village ... .. The population is very welcoming and happy to show us their way of life. They put us in their cult of death meal on the bank of a small river back to polite.
Day 8 : POLI
Today, we stay close to POLI and we visit the colorful weekly market, where the different ethnic groups of the surrounding region come to offer their goods. Zebus are also offered for sale. We visit a Bororo tribe in the surrounding hills at MARKA.
Day 9 : POLI - Ngaoundere - Yaoundé
We leave our motel Poli and head Ngaoundere. After a short visit to the city, we prepare for the return trip by train to Yaoundé.
Day 10 : Yaoundé
We visit the city of Yaoundé and its surroundings (Mount Febe, Crafts, Monuments ... ..).
